  4.    1. Multitasking!
  5.  
  6.    BoulderDäsh is running in multitasking since  version  3.56!  This  may
  7.    cause  problems, because BoulderDäsh is using the blitter hardware very
  8.    intensiv (up to 11000 blitter copies  each  second  (NTSC  13200)),  so
  9.    there  is no time for system blitter action. If the operating system is
  10.    trying to use the blitter it is going to sleep  until  the  blitter  is
  11.    free.  BoulderDäsh  is using the input.device for keyboard input and if
  12.    the OS is sleeping there is not device activity. The point is, that you
  13.    MUST   stop   all   programmes  that  open/close  windows  or  use  the
  14.    graphics.library  (blitter)  in  any  way.  In  the  most  cases  these
  15.    programmes  are  Workbench  Eyes,  Clock  tools  and of course awakener
  16.    tools.

  19.    2. Data format changes

  21.    The game and the hiscore format has changed.  Boulderdäsh  is  able  to
  22.    convert  these  files,  but  later  versions  can't!  The  Hiscores are
  23.    converted on game loading, but if you have created own games  you  need
  24.    to save them.

  27.    3. Changes to the directory tree.

  29.    Since version 3.56 there is a new directory structure  and  BoulderDäsh
  30.    internal  datas  are  carried  in  seperate  drawers  called! After the
  31.    installation of this version you should check your personal datas. Your
  32.    selfmade  games,  graphics  etc.  should  be  stored in a drawer called
  33.    "user". This is important because later updates may delete  drawers  or
  34.    all  files  in them. The "User" drawer and any other selfcreated drawers
  35.    won´t be changed.
